We won the ACM MMSports 2023 Instance Segmentation

Son, Hung, and Mikel (Master students) from KAIST, South Korea, under my and Dr. Daeyoung Kim’s supervision won the ACM MMSports 2023 Instance Segmentation challenge. We are ranked 1st over more than a dozen of teams worldwide.

We also wrote a technical report about the novel techniques proposed to win it in: Instance Segmentation under Occlusions via Location-aware Copy-Paste Data Augmentation.
